New Video Series for Educators Helps Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect

New School Improvement Network Video Series Helps Educators Identify, Report, Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect

We have just released a new video series to help educators prevent child abuse and neglect. The eight-part series is available to all educators on PD 360, the most widely used online, subscription-based professional development solution in the US.

“Over 700,000 cases of child maltreatment are reported in the United States every year,” said Chet D. Linton, CEO and president of School Improvement Network. “With these training videos in PD 360, educators will be more aware and better prepared to recognize and help students suffering from child abuse or neglect.”

The videos are part of PD 360’s compliance series, which also includes video series on blood-borne pathogens, bullying, copyright issues, Internet safety, sexual harassment, and physical hazards on school grounds.

PD 360 offers a library of more than 3,000 expert-produced training videos, powerful support tools and resources, and an online professional learning community of more than one million educators.
